anthropologie petites
Lo and behold, one of the trendiest chain stores in the states is replete with petite fashion to fill our ever-expanding wardrobes. It’s Anthropologie, and it’s ubiquitous in L.A.
In general, Anthropologie’s sizing runs small. Many XS pieces fit me without alterations. The catch: petite sizes are found only on their Web site, and they are depleted quickly. Then again, that’s a huge plus for those of us with late-night shopping habits and a sixth-sense for online sales.
Lately, though, I’ve found Anthropologie to carry more petite sizes, which is what prompted the write up. Consider the following pieces, in perfect timing for holiday soirees and dinner with the family.

This cardigan features ruffled edges and a series of perfectly mix-matched buttons, and both the red and the grey cardigans are beautiful. I tried it on at both The Grove and Third Street Promenade locations.

A perfectly tailored jacket in snow-white with black-blue embroidery. I especially love the dramatic lapels.

One my editors is the proud owner of this tomato-red shirtdress. The crocheted trim is an elegant touch, and it ties in the back for a perfect fit. She looks stunning in it!

Skinny-leg cords and fall — my favorite autumn combination.

I like these wide-legged trousers for its decorative button design and the silk ribbon in back. And you won’t get lost in these lined wide legs.
