I don’t often write about what it is I do in my day to day life. The reason why my posts are sporadic is because I’m a full time Executive Producer. Which as those of you who know in the industry means I’m busy. Really busy. I’m often finding myself outside of L.A. even if it is only to Santa Barbara; the place I want to retire. Tomorrow.

I had a bit of time to shop today, again on State Street. I’ve driven past Global Feet on numerous occasions and today I had the time to stop in. I was impressed.

Quite honestly, Global Feet has a very good selection of shoes, U.S. and European brands that will make all girls happy. With wedding month upon us, petite gals around the world are scrambling to finalize details, make last-minute arrangements… and find those perfectly elegant, Cinderella-worthy shoes.

Many brides leave this oh-so-important detail to the last minute. Fortunately, even for those with a tight budget, most bridal shoes don’t break the bank. Before you hit the designer racks, try Payless, where you’ll find a great selection with names like Alice & Olivia and Lela Rose. serafina bride Makiko found her classic and comfortable shoes here. Endless has a good variety too.

When searching, I recommend sticking with a comfortable style, like shorter heels — you’re the center of attention, remember? And you’re wearing a gorgeous gown that you’ll want to show off. So you’ll likely be on your feet all day. And don’t forget to wear your shoes a bit before the big day to help save your petite tootsies from blisters.

For those brides reciting vows on a grass or sand surface, I recommend a wedge or flat. And perhaps leather to avoid stains.

Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, and yes as you might have guessed, I’ve been shopping. My recent acquisitions include purchases from The Circle in Silver Lake. I love St. Pat’s Day. And, I love designer sandals. Thus, I’ve decided to celebrate the day with a selection of lovely green sandals from YOOX.COM. Slainte!

Overs and Unders event at Nordstrom
There are overs and unders events at Nordstrom twice annually. It’s not a sale, though. Rather, it’s an event for women needing sizing at 5 or below, or greater than 10. Call your local Nordstrom store for event scheduling.

Also check Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Cinderella of Boston and Bluefly. Sizing at these shops also start at 4.5.

Visualize cotton candy pink, and a gal thinks of a precious stone, or perhaps a dozen roses. But this Valentine’s Day, you’ll want to shift that image to one of sequined pink pumps.

Celebrating their 50th birthday, Hush Puppies rewards us by unveiling a line of brand-spanking new designs at the Grammy Style Studio.

In 50 years, you can imagine how things have changed for the company. Most recently, they partnered with fashion-forward celebrity stylist Rachel Fanconi to give the brand a total overhaul, making it more appealing to a hipper audience while retaining the known-and-loved Hush Puppy comfort.

I have to say, ladies, the designs are very cool.
